I’m no stranger to building a business. I have a long background in building and growing a team for a company I loved, 35 years to be exact. But one day, that perfect opportunity put a huge wrench in my life.

I became a mom at a very young age, without finishing high school. After earning my GED when my kids were growing up, I joined a company in the beauty industry that worked on a party plan model. While that was ideal at the time, when I was young and loved being social, it wasn’t ideal for me when that company abruptly shut its doors. It was a huge shock that it happened so suddenly. Tens of thousands of consultants were left out to dry.

I could have retired, but I wasn’t ready. I have too many goals yet to accomplish in my lifetime. Too many lives to help change. So I dove back into finding another perfect-fit business. Sadly, so many of the companies I researched only offered party plan models with expensive products. I’d already seen the flaws in that business model. Plus, at this stage in my life, I want to spend time with my family.

The thought of leaving my house every day to host parties wasn’t appealing to me at all.

But there was a much bigger issue.

I needed to find an authentic company. One whose mission was to make a difference in other people’s lives. A company with a proven history; strong financial stability and one that was debt free. I needed a company that I could trust to be around, not only for my lifetime, but my children’s lifetimes, my grandchildren’s lifetimes, because I wanted to leave a legacy… A legacy that matters.

I needed a company that I could easily share with others because it offered products of great value to the customer. I needed a company that I could trust would pay a person beyond their wildest dreams, if they were looking for residual income.

And then I found it. I found that company. I found my new direction.

Now, I feel like I’m 20 years younger. I’m motivated again. My family and friends can see the difference in me. I’m helping others achieve their goals. I have a clear vision and purpose. My only regret is that I did not find this company years ago.

My husband, Fred, and I are newlyweds. We’ve done a lot of traveling in our lives. Now we both enjoy the flexible schedule I have so we can go see new places together or just enjoy one another with a quiet afternoon at the movies.

I love helping others enjoy this luxury too. I am truly helping others live life on their own terms.

My goal used to be to work until 2020, but I see my new business as an easy way to keep working for many years to come. In fact, I’ve helped many others in my age bracket accomplish something of their own. After being a leader in my prior business for over three decades, I believe I can be successful in my next chapter offering a cleaner, healthier, more prosperous life to anyone and everyone I meet.
